Except for one front desk employee that could have been more friendly, the motel was pleasantly nice. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, Manager went completely out of his way for us. They were doing remodelling so had to put up with a bit of nuisance there at night but ok. Was a nice place to stay overall. Thank you Marve
While evacuating Florida due to Hurricane Irene they have been very kind and gracious to accept us. But on our second night they are over full and we will have to move on in the morning. No Reservations were made.
I checked in close to 4pm. Once in the room the tv didn't work, I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work, tried to log onto WiFi no luck there either. I went to the front desk the guy had someone come and address the tv and phone issue. About 30mins later I hear something which sounds like a faucet running. Walk into the bathroom and there's water pouring out of the vent from the ceiling flooding the floor I'm the bathroom. After asking the front desk for towels they offered to move us upstairs. After 18plus hour drive with 3 kids the last thing I wanted to do was repack, reload my car and carry my stuff up 2 flights of stairs. I told them I'm staying put. Left for dinner come back and then my key doesn't work. The mattress closest to the window had to be moved about a foot closer to the window off the frame because when you lay in it you sink down to the floor. Not to mention when you sit on the toilet it isn't sealed to the ground. 5am wake up to the sound of rain pouring in the room and the floor in the bathroom is flooded once again. After using all the towels to clean it up I went to check out once again stating all the issues since check in to be told there is no manager and the manager would have to handle it. Then I called ebates to complain and they contacted the hotel to only be told by Emily at the front desk that the manager isn't available and to try and call back tomorrow. So needless to say do not book here. I have video and pics to support the water issues from the ceiling. Avoid this location and room 104
Nice furnishings and utilities, home kind of feel
The outside of the building did not look as clean as the inside. Beds were comfortable and room fairly clean. However door to outside did not shut all the way and employees were confusing.
